Potomac Highlands Cyclists

The Potomac Highlands Cyclists honor the memory of Marge Wade, who died of Muliple Myeloma in 2006, by sponsoring this even dedicated to providing financial support to various non-profit community organization.  Marge strongly practiced her belief in community involvement.  This event hopes to perserve and perpetuate her deep commitment.

Potomac Highlands Animal Rescue

The Potomach Highlands Animal Rescue (PHAR) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, all volunteer organization.  Since 1993 PHAR has rescured and placed over 15,000 animals from the area.  PHAR also provides a regular transport for pet owners to the low cost non-profit spay/neuter clinic in Harrisonburg, VA.

How can I participate?

*Ride a bicycle on one of three available bike routes and enjoy the scenic mountains and valleys.

*Walk the track at the Moorefield Town Park or through the lovely streets of Moorefield.

*Collect donations for this event.

*Volunteer your time and skills.

*Make a tax-deductible donation.

*Sponsor a biker/walker.

*Participate in our silent auction at the MVFC Bingo Hall.

*Enter your a photo of your pet in the photo contest or vote for your favorite.
